Start with your first and last name at the top. When writing your post, aim for a strong paragraph responding to the question. Refer to the question you are responding to in your post. Use examples from the primary source documents. Phrases such as, "According to..." or "In the article, titled, '...', _______ says that...". Transition words such as "therefore," "thus," "to conclude," "in summary," and "this evidence shows that" can help guide the reader.
In addition to your post, you must include one original resource and add it to the MLA Works Cited List at the bottom of the webpage in correct MLA format.
For book:
Lastname, Firstname. Title of Book. City of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication. Medium of Publication.
For website:
Editor, author, or compiler name (if available). Name of Site. Version number. Name of institution/organization affiliated with the site (sponsor or publisher), date of resource creation (if available). Medium of publication. Date of access.
